Father Commits Suicide in Bangalore, India

Syed Makhdoom Committed Suicide in Bangalore(India) after being not allowed see his 3 year old son for more than a year. He left this video before committing suicide.

So much of international literature is written about vulnerability of Muslim women and how women are oppressed under Islam. Has anyone seen the other side?
